I found what I think to be one of the more interesting guitar blogs on the net - Guitar Flame. Written by Ovidiu Oprescu from Romania the blog has tonnes of interesting articles. Here are my favorite 3 so far:

• Geek quits his dayjob as a software programmer to become a rock star - A story about a former software programmer who now codes songs.
• Wish it would be on my guitar too… - Some really cool video of Les Paul from Youtube. This guy was way ahead of his time…
• The most difficult part of learning the guitar is starting it… - A post about how to approach learning guitar when you are first starting out.

I came across some interesting Drop D Guitar chord shapes well surfing the net today. Check out the PDF. I don’t know if that is a song or whatever, but there are definately some interesting shapes in there to play around with.
